Thearticle reviews the method of activating cognitive activity in students. The characteristic is given to methods of stimulating interest in learning. Examples of using methods to stimulate interest in learning are given.The pedagogical significance of interactive teaching methods is justified, the need for continuous improvement of the system and practice of education is due to social changes in society. The issues of improving the quality of training and the level of upbringing of the student’s personality were considered and remain priorities in the modern methodology of teaching technology.
