    Platinum salts are used in the treatment of various tumors and are associated with several adverse effects. Acute pancreatitis is a rare but life-threatening complication. We report a case of Drug-Induced Acute Pancreatitis (DIAP) due to cisplatin and present a systematic review focusing on clinical features and management strategies. A systematic review was conducted using covidence, encompassing literature published from 1985 to 2024 that reported DIAP secondary to platinum salts. Ultimately, seven studies were included, comprising six case reports and one case series, resulting in a total of 12 cases: Five due to cisplatin, six due to oxaliplatin, and one due to carboplatin.
